This is an intermediate no-sew crochet bear pattern that uses #6 bulky yarn, a 6.5mm hook and works up quickly. I have a lot of practice crocheting and it takes me less than an hour to finish which makes it great to make and sell! When made with worsted weight yarn it is great for keychains.
I have also made it in #5 Big Twist Plush yarns and it turns out great.
The amount of details in the face are up to you, any colors could be used to copy your favorite cuddly cub grin.
This pattern uses basic stitches in US terms with tutorials easy to find online if they are new to you.
You will need #6 yarn, 6.5mm hook or preferred hook, 9mm safety eyes (safety eyes are NOT intended for children under 3 years of age because they are a choking hazard!), a stitch marker, tapestry needle, stuffing and any extra yarns for the detailing.
