This is an intermediate no-sew crochet bat pattern that uses #6 bulky yarn, a 6mm hook and works up in around 30 minutes! It's a great addition to markets!
I have also made it in #5 Big Twist Plush yarns and it turns out great.
The amount of details in the face are up to you, blush or eyelashes could always be added on!
This pattern uses basic stitches in US terms. Tutorials for any of the stitches could easily be found on YouTube. It also uses color changing and surface crochet techniques to make this pattern entirely no sew. You only have to weave in the tail at the end!
You will need #6 yarn in black. 6mm hook, or preferred hook, 12mm, or larger, safety eyes (safety eyes are NOT intended for children under 3 years of age because they are a choking hazard!), a stitch marker, tapestry needle, stuffing and any extra yarns for detailing.
